“When our little girl started in Nóiníní Beaga, she didn’t have a word of Gaeilge, and we didn’t either. The teachers made it very easy for her to settle in and encouraged little words or phrases. Soon she was speaking more words as Gaeilge and teaching us. We feel she has been given a great foundation for school and later life and we can’t thank Eimear and Nóiníní Beaga enough. Anyone who is worried about not having Irish should go and have a look at how they are with a group children all speaking Irish and your worries will disappear”

"We were so delighted to find a preschool for my child that nurtures our child’s individuality. The classes are small so each child gets the teacher's attention and that is so important in helping them to develop their confidence and grow into independent children. The communication between Eimear, the staff and parents is amazing and my little girl learning Irish is such an added bonus to the whole package"

“I have found that all staff consistently demonstrate a genuine interest and commitment to supporting the social, emotional and cognitive development of the children in their care. There is a good open communication feedback system in place and staff are both available and responsive. In my opinion, Nóiníní Beaga has provided a great foundation in these early years”

“We would like to take this oopprtunity to thank Eimear, Maeve and Mikaela for all their help and assistance throughout the past 2 years. The newsletters we received regularly had us updated and involved in all activities. New words and phrases being introduced were given to us to practise at home. The attention that is given to each child is excellent and at all times parents are updated on progress they make. We would happily recommend Nóiníní Beaga to anyone to give their children a foundation in Irish”

“When our son started in September 2017, everyone was fantastic helping him to settle in, make friends and reassure us to his progress. There is such a friendly, caring atmosphere. Our son’s speech, communication and social skills have come on in leaps and bounds since he started. They are very good at encouraging the kids to develop their own interests and also open them up to new concepts and help to create a curiosity about their world. We’re really impressed with our experience so far and it’s great that they can pick up the Irish language unknown to themselves while they go about their play and work”

“Back in September 2011 my oldest daughter joined Nóiníní Beaga in Green Street, Birr. There was a small group of children at first. The naíonra has moved since and has 2 classes now. I have sent my other 3 daughters to the naíonra and I have watched them grow with their friends, learn the Irish language and they love it. They do puzzles, play kitchen or play outside and they are learing at all times. I have 2 girls still in the naíonra and they love to go in every morning. They are up at 8.15am every morning calling Come on Mammy, we will be late”
